Germany has awarded the German based Rheinmetall an extension to its current framework agreement for the provision of 120mm tank ammunition. This sees an existing framework agreement increase in value to almost 4 billion € and allows for delivery to both the Bundeswher and Ukrainian armed forces.
In addition to this increase an order worth 309 million € has been placed under the framework agreement. This comes after Germany had approved a budget of 381,1 million € to purchase 40.000 rounds for itself and 17.500 for Ukraine.
