Hungary has ordered the HERO-120 loitering munition from Rheinmetall whom is the European importer of the system. The delivery will take place between 2024 and 2025 and will amount to a total order volume in the “low three-digit million-euro range”.
HERO-120 is a loitering munition made by the Israeli U-Vision which comes with a 4,5kg AT/AP warhead with a range of 60km and a loiter time of 60 minutes.
