Estonian robotics firm Milrem Robotics announced Tuesday that it has signed a contract with German defense contractor Krauss-Maffei Wegmann to deliver 14 THeMIS unmanned ground vehicles to Ukraine. The German Ministry of Defense is funding the delivery of the 14 THeMIS UGVs, with seven THeMIS to be delivered by the end of this year in a casualty evacuation configuration. The remaining seven will be delivered in the second quarter of 2023, and will be equipped with route clearance payloads from French defense manufacturer CNIM Systèmes Industriels.
